uhh in the more current times i have a concert in two weeks at juilliard playing prokofiev, shumann, and mozart. i think jareds going. yeah. if he does hes cool.
nd then this weekend im thinkin a poker night if i can manage. i hope i don't have to stay late at juilliard. and i hope my parents are alright with it. they should b. and if theyre not then they should b arrested for child abuse. but it would b nice to have a couple kids over here to play. maybe id even win? i usually don't haha but maybe this could b different. not totally sure whos comin but i have a few ppl nd more to come. so im excited if it works.
so school this week is gonna b the same old stuff. except im gonna go to the play thursday and friday. into the woods yeah cool. nd then thats about it. so i guess ill just leave it at this little update. talk to u kids later.

| yeaa. new things that happened? got my permit. it was my birthday december 21. umm had a nice break over holiday saw everyone. schools been good lately. well mostly. a lot is happening but at the same time nothings happening. if you know what i mean. i actually don't feel like updating. nothing good to write. and plus i don't like xanga. yeah so laterr. | | |
| alright so heres another update before the break we have this week. yeah im excited . . . only one and a half days of school this week and then the rest off. niice. i really need a break and im sure ur all thinking the same thing. so since last week . . . yeah its been pretty much the same. i think i mentioned i went to NMS band rehersal in the last entry? or was that before? well whatever it was really funny cuz they sucked so much they couldn't even play a Bb scale in tune. when they got to the last tonic i swear as they got louder the pitch went up at least a quarter tone. but i really don't care how the band sounds it was just cool to see everyone again. and then i went to the tri m music honor society induction ceremony the next day to watch chelsea sing. it was reallly good. so go chels. and uhh i talked to jared then. he told me to hold his phone but we both forgot i had it by the end so i never gave it back to him and accidentally took it home. so now i have to give it chelsea to get it back. but i like customized it to my own liking and added a few pictures haha.
then friday was another football game at uhh coatsville. which is like . . . far away. at least for a marching band performance. almost a two hour ride to get there i sat next to amy and talked to uhh marlee, jess, brian, liz, and ariela the whole time so it kind of passed quickly. we won the game. the performance was bad due to the lack of people and practice but who gives a shit now. no competitions left. so now i have another game but the good part is its home so its not bad. on the ride home everyone tried to sleep but it was hard cuz the seats are so uncomfertable and the bus was cold. i ended up like stretching out onto other people across from me but even that didn't work to well. when we got back i was soooo tired it was like past twelve or something. i could barely walk cuz we did so much carrying the quints around and stuff. dave like carried me into the auditorium it was funny mr. heaney commented but im sure he would have done the same if was that tired. plus he doesn't play quints.
then saturday was juilliard again very long i had to get up early after a long night which was hell. then a drive to new york. classes were like usual until six. then i had a little mini lesson with simon to work on my piece and it was cool he gave me a lot of new ideas to work with for my performance. and i played with jonathon too at my private lesson. so now with the help from two amazing players i think i can get this down soon. if you wanna come to the concert let me know december 18. and then after all this stuff i had the orchestra concert. i thought it went pretty well. nothing to bad happened and the cello was amazing. she got called back four times for extra bows and stuff and flowers. then afterwards i had to take the timpani back up to the third floor. so by the time i got home it was around two oclock. yeah too late after the midnight the day before.
so today i slept in late like noon. and then sat around doing almost nothing it was pretty boring. in fact really boring. i was online and stuff and practiced a little bit. talked to people. so i was really like . . . depressed from lonliness if you wanna put it that way. it was just so gloomy out and no one was around and i couldn't do nething. but later on in the night it got better so im fine. well yeah and making plans for this week we'll see what happens i know im doing something tuesday hopefully wednsday friday and saturday also. but now i think im gona go cuz im gettin tired of writing. so uhh heres a survey if your wanna do that. people seemed to have it so i will too . . .

| mmmk . . . updating? are u excited? you should be.
let me see . . . let me wander through the deep dark chasm that is my mind and recollect any noteworthy events that have taken place since my last entry. alright. done. and i came up with very little. if anything at all. its been pretty dull. things don't like to happen in good old neshaminy school district. so ill start and end with the boring stuff.
alright so band. considering thats like a major topic of life nowadays. seems to be consuming everyones . . . "you wanna go out this weekend?" "sorry, band." and ur friends know. no further explaination necessary. and this is if you even have friends that aren't in band. if they haven't ditched you cuz you can never see them nemore. but thankfully thats about to end. the redskins are in the playoffs which means theyre can't be too much left even if they do win. the positive side is we may go to states. the downside is we may go to states. states means fun and excitement but it also means many added games that are often far, far away in a land you've only heard of once in a lullaby. and far away (for those of you that aren't the sharpest knives i keep hidden under my bed err i mean in the shed . . . that was an atempt at lightening up this boring mood. humor me.) uhh where was I? . . . oh right for the stupid people that means long boring bus rides in uncomfertable seats wearing gay band uniforms. and once we get out its like walking out of the frying pan and into a freezer . . . yes its that cold. we die. we just die. especiall drumline and their no gloves. well we have them. we just can't wear them. see its band logic. i've been accumulating quite a good amount of it. like just the other day i was discussing the grading system with mr. lipton and discovered a few things i was unaware were true: on a grading system of 4; above 2 = D, above 2.5 = C, above 3 = B, above 3.5 = A. now most of us understand that part. but the part that struck me totally by surprise was this. apparently theres this secret little block hidden in the A section. if you happen to end up with an average of 3.67, you really have a B+. surprising? I know. but it makes sense if you really think about. cuz after all a B- and an A+ are the same thing right? think about it. and back to my main point which was temperature. well i found out the other day thanks to the realiable source of Mr. Michael Lipton that its been 30 degrees outside since september!! i was in shock! and all this time i thought it went up to i don't know. . . 60s, 70s? but then again there is no difference between 30 degrees and 78 degrees. which is why the 30 degree whether doesn't make your hands any colder than another day of the year. clearly.
well despite all this newfound knowledge i acquired the band still had to perform at the multiple competitions. i was unaware of our lack of ability. we like to lose at things. except our own competition where it doesn't count. we got a superior then. but i guess the good news is that at pennsbury even tho we only got an outstanding we did get best music and best percussion which makes the drumline two for two. i was so proud. right.
in the further world im still working on time for marimba at juilliard. and its not getting ne easier. but i can almost play it which is good. i should have it playable by this weekend and then hopefully much better by the concert on December 3rd.
uhh and then i auditioned for jazz band. wow i was so mad at myself cuz my audition was absolutely terrible in my opinion. i hadn't practiced the piece since like the first day and it sucked. i didn't get to warm up thanks to stupid orchestra making me stay at school the whole day. and uhh i was nervous also. so yeah . . . terrible. i was only mad cuz i didn't play the best i could have. im not saying i would have beaten ben or ben even if i did but i would have had a better chance and at least id be satisfied. now i never will be cuz theyre both seniors so no more auditions against them. i know ben browns way better at improv then i am. but i think i have a little bit of a technical edge over him just cuz i play classical which is like all technic all the time. but i don't wanna get into this. so congrats those who made and hopefully those of us that didn't will next year. if i even audition. i don't know if i want to. but im not gettin into that either.
ok well now im doing some fun mocking bird hw that i don't feel like doing so its time to wrap this up. youve kind of gotten the jist of whats been going on. i deleted all social events ive been to so don't get mad if i like didn't mention you. but yeah umm wednsday im going to visit NMS lol how great is that. it should be better knowing that im not actually in it. but yeah i get to see people and go over brians so its cool.

| edit//: alright well the edits on top so that you know to read it cuz otherwise you won't notice. I don't know why im editting and not just adding a new entry but thats alright. so Marple Newtown Bandarama? Yeah we sucked and didn't win any awards. i rushed home from new york to get to it too.
i went with jill yesterday and that was fun. and then i went to school the next day. and i think i have some money now so friday im gonna go to the mall with people. yeah i need to get out. it sucks that i never see my friends outside of school that much nemore. i can't wait till band stops and friday nights free up. ok well i think thats it so back to the old entry . . .
sorry for the wait but i was kind of busy and when i was free i didn't feel like updating. the fact that i had a whole big long entry written out that got deleted kind of killed it. so here it goes from that saturday night or friday or whatever day i last updated. . .
juilliard for another week. really cool. i went to the five story barnes and noble and went up to the cafe on the top floor and had an amazing sandwich and a frappicino. then i went and looked at the music books they had. theres a whole section just dedicated to the arts. i was happy. and although it was raining when i got there it turned out to be a pretty good day. i walked around a lot and went to the tower record company and bought a new CD case. and then walked some more. classes aren't too bad. i didn't have too many of them that day cause of the rain and then sectionals in orchestra. so yeah. lots of free time.
marching band was almost everyday that week. tuesday rehersal, wednsday rehersal, thursday football game, friday unexpected rehersal, saturday parade, and finally boyertown competition that night. the football game wasn't too bad. neshaminy won again. and our playing was mediocre. the parade was annoying. it was hot out and i was dying by the end of the route. especially carrying the quints. all we did was cadence and play conquista which is mustang in disguise. but it doesn't matter cuz all i do is make up the part neway. i can make it as interesting as id like. and yeah i don't kno how but we managed to win boyertown for the third year in a row meaning we get to keep the trophy. somehow we also won superior music, best wind, brass, and percussion sections, and received a superior rating. like i said don't ask me how. it made the night interesting tho. except on the bus ride there i was surrounded by annoying people except amy and brian. and on the way home with ali. i wasn't prepared to carry the quints anywhere when i got back but i had to and it wasn't fun at all.
sunday and monday were pretty boring a lot of homework and stuff and i had a drum lesson on monday night. i saw ryan lutz it was funny. ninth grade band nights on October 8th.
tuesday the guy came and set-up comcast which im really happy about cuz now i don't have to go slow with AOL dial-up and i can be online all the time. shame it took that long for my dad to finally switch. but i have it now so its good. i had band again that night indoors and we worked on the drumline feature. that was . . . interesting. somehow were gonna perform it tomorrow by perfecting it and learning all the drill at rehersal tonight? i don't see that happening.
yesterday was pretty much a sit and do nothing the entire day kind of day. so i sat there and did nothing the entire day except school which was boring. and now i have to pay for it by doing all the homework tonight that i didn't do yesterday. its not gonna be fun. but homework never is fun.
tomorrows another football game away this time thats a first. and then saturday the next day at juilliard which reminds me i have to do some work for that and i might actually have a private lesson that morning. i think i wanna practice some today but im not sure if i can with all the homework. ill have to rush. excitement.
alright well i think thats about enough of that for awhile. sorry that wasnt too interesting but if you made it this far congratulations. my first entry was better. i was actually in a better mood than and it brightened up my writing. im sure ive forgotten a few things to but i can't think of them right now. ill probably add a few edits to this entry when something new happens thats bound to happen. or if i remember something. but now im just rambling so im gonna stop. later. | | |
